1.Light transmittance:
PC board has a light transmittance of up to 89%, which is comparable to glass. UV coated boards will not turn yellow, fog, or have poor light transmittance when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the light transmittance loss is only 6%, while the PVC loss rate is as high as 15%-20%, and the glass fiber is 12%-20%.
2.Impact resistance:
The impact resistance of solid board is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic board of the same thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. It has no cracks even if it falls from two meters with a 3kg hammer. It is known as "unbreakable glass" and "ringing steel". (Hollow sun panels are not impact-resistant.)
3.Anti-ultraviolet:
PC solid board and hollow sun panel are coated with anti-ultraviolet (UV) coating on one side and anti-condensation treatment on the other side, integrating anti-ultraviolet, heat insulation and anti-drip functions. It can block ultraviolet rays from passing through, and is suitable for protecting valuable artworks and exhibits from damage by ultraviolet rays. There are also PC boards made by special double-sided UV technology, which are suitable for special flower planting and environments with higher requirements for UV protection.
4. Lightweight:
The specific gravity is only half of that of glass, saving the cost of transportation, handling, installation and support frame.
5. Flame retardant:
The national standard GB50222-95 confirms that PC boards are flame-retardant level 1, that is, B1 level, and will self-extinguish after leaving the fire.
6. Bendability:
According to the design drawings, cold bending can be used on site to install arches, semicircular tops and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the board, and hot bending is also possible.
7. Sound insulation:
The PC board has obvious sound insulation effect and has better sound insulation than glass and acrylic boards of the same thickness. Under the condition of the same thickness, the sound insulation of PC endurance board is 3-4DB higher than that of glass. It is the preferred material for highway sound barriers internationally.
8. Energy saving:
Keep cool in summer and warm in winter, the insulation effect is 7%-25% higher than the same glass
9. Weather resistance:
PC board can maintain the stability of various physical indicators in the range of -40ºC to 120ºC.
10. Anti-condensation:
Condensation generally does not occur on the surface of solar panels. If there is dew, it will flow along the surface of the panel instead of dripping.
